Read Matthew 26:6-13
I thought these stories were interesting being so close in details. But the two men named Simon seem to be different people – at least in the notes in my Bible :-).
- Always imagining ourselves in the scene, what do you think Simon discovers about who Jesus is based on this interaction?
- How do you think being known as “Simon the leper” might impact him daily?
- What might the disciples be gleaning about Jesus’ character?
- What are the implications in Jesus saying that whenever the gospel is preached, this story would be told? What’s He mean?
