MONDAY (11/16/20)

Read Romans 9:30-33 and Matthew 11:1-6

Paul started this chapter out deeply sad that his Israelite brothers had rejected Jesus, and thus been rejected by Him.

  • From verse 32, what was their real issue?
  • Why do you think faith is so important to God?
  • How does Jesus respond to the honest questions from John the Baptist’s disciples? John was surely struggling to believe that Jesus was indeed the Messiah as he (John) sat in prison.
  • What do you think that it means when Paul says “the one who trusts in Him will not be put to shame?”

WEEK 2: MEMORY VERSE
ROMANS 10:9-10
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
