HOME GROUPS
Home groups are smaller communities of the church that meet in local neighborhoods throughout the week where we can most naturally and meaningfully live out the mission of Riverside Church.
Home groups are one of the primary ways we connect at Riverside. They are the best place for people to make connections with each other and be holistically cared for. In home groups, we learn and grow, laugh and cry, care and share, serve and celebrate, worship and pray. These are the things that make a church!
Because home groups are so central to our mission, we really encourage people new to Riverside to dive right into a home group. See the list of groups below and contact us about joining a group.
Locations & Meeting Times
Note: Groups sometimes change day/times as they meet based on what is best for group members. This is the most up-to-date home group map. However, it’s best to verify with the church or the listed home group leader before trying to attend a group. If you are interested in joining a group, send us a message!
How do I decide on a Home Group?
-
Home groups made up of neighbors are able to work together to be good neighbors to those around them.
-
You might live in one neighborhood, but spend most of your time in another. It might make sense for you to belong to a group there.
-
We want our groups to be inter-generational as much as possible. But, we also want families with kids to have a place where their kids can be with other kids.
-
Our groups meet on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. If the group nearest you doesn’t meet on a night that works for you – find a group that does.
