SUNDAY GATHERINGS

We gather every Sunday to faithfully retell God’s story, creating space for everyone to encounter and express glory to Jesus. We would love for you to join us
in-person or check us out online.

We don’t think of our weekly gatherings as a production,
but as a space to be formed by God and give glory to Jesus.

We meet in a gym next to boxing rings: a simple, informal atmosphere that prioritizes Jesus and his mission over traditional aesthetics. Feel free to wear what makes you comfortable—you’ll see people dressed in varying degrees of casual or formal. You’re welcome to enjoy the free coffee we provide or bring your own.

Even so, we remember that in worship we stand in awe of God, delighting in his majesty and the beauty of his creation. We lean into the rich history of scripture reading, prayer, and weekly communion.

See below for more details about what Sunday mornings look like. If you have questions or want to learn more, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Details for Sunday Morning

  • Each week, one of our leaders gives a 25-30 minute message rooted in scripture. We seek to always be faithful, challenging, and grace-filled in teaching. You can listen to current messages here or visit our YouTube channel for past gatherings.

  • We spend a significant portion of our morning worshiping God through song. Music is sometimes led by a full band, and sometimes just an instrument and vocals. We seek to incorporate music from different genres.

  • Communion is a weekly invitation to remember the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and to embody our inclusion in the family of God through Christ. Anyone who believes in Jesus and seeks to live in his ways is invited but not required to receive communion.

  • We currently have three different Kids Ministry classes for children newborn through 5th grade. All volunteers are trained, undergo background checks, and love working with kids.

  • Students in 6th-12th grade worship and serve with the adults and have their own small group time Sunday mornings before the worship gatherings.

  • For those who value the mission of Riverside and are learning to give, we invite everyone to give back to God a portion of what he’s given us. We don’t pass an offering plate, but there are three ways you can give.
