Rahab’s faith lands her in the direct lineage of Jesus. I love that she is mentioned by name over and over and given such esteem in times when women had no esteem.

Exodus 14 and Joshua 3-4 tell these two stories longhand. They are well worth the read!
The author of Hebrews talks about the ‘faith of the Israelites’ and ‘the faith of the army’.

Jacob receives his limb and his walking stick through a wrestling match with God to receive a blessing. I’ve always found it so cool that the writer chooses to mention this small detail in his account.
And Joseph had so much faith that he asked for his bones to be taken to the Promised Land when the Israelites left Egypt.
We see in these few verses that the lineage of Abraham continues. Abraham- Isaac- Jacob- Joseph.
